I will be here

Hi, All.  No need to respond to this.  I'm having a lot of pain and just started the new med for the TN.  It makes me spacey.  I see all the questions and I promised some people some answers.  I hope to be on later today.  Just wanted you to know, I'm fine and not ignoring anyone, but for right now I'm "non compos mentis."  Not in my right mind.  Carry on, and I'll be back soon.  Again, no need to respond.

BUT, I have THE new name for the kind of neuros Cowboy, Cjacks, Rena and others have found!

They be:                                               DODO-DOCS !

Love you all, quix

WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THESE DEFUNKED RELAPSES FROM HEY-DEY.

LAST NIGHT AT THE MS CLINIC THEY GAVE ME PAPER WORK ON DEPRESSION,WHICH I KNOW I HAVE A BIT OF,BUT MY GP TAKES CARE OF THAT.

I GUESS IF WE ARE RELAPSING MAYBE OUR MS SPECIALIST ARE WRONG ABOUT THE PROGRESSION.

I KNOW I'M TIRED OF THE SOLU-MEDROL INFUSIONS,I HAD THEM FOR 5 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS THEN THE SPECIALIST RAN THAT ONE LAST NIGHT IN 15 MINUTES TO SHOCK MY SYSTEM.

GEEZ HOW MANY ATTACKS CAN WE HAVE IN A YEAR?

I TRY TO STAY ACTIVE,I CAN'T EVEN GO TO THE FITNESS CENTER RIGHT NOW.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A ARM BACK TO WORKING.I'M RIGHT HANDED AND IT ISN'T GOOD TO HAVE THE RIGHT ARM AND HAND GO BAD.

QUIX,I'M GLAD YOUR FEELING BETTER YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER AND BACK FOR A LONG TIME.

PRAYERS THAT YOU GET OVER THIS QUICKLY

T

alas...my days of tyranny are over.

This is what I think happened.  I finished the 3-Day steroid pulse last Wednesday.  The new and improved L'Hermitte's did go away.  Thursday I started the Tegreto (carbamazepine) and it added unsteadiness, dizziness and ataxia to my already permanent vertigo. oh, joy..  Th

Thursday eve I had the worst attack of Trigeminal Neuralgia I have had.

Friday I had myalgias, a headache, chills and maybe a fever and a lot of face pain.  I also started to get a fever blister (Herpes I) Typically I have a viral syndrome-like illness the first day of a fever blister due to a viremia (replication of the virus that spills over into the blood.  this is fairly common.)

This stimulated my immune system and triggered an MS relapse.

Saturday I felt better

Sunday both legs and my right arm became very weak.  They stayed very weak for three days.  Momday and Tuesday.  Also I had new parasthesias in my right foot.  I called my Neuro and he said it was too soon to give any more steroids, so there was nothing he could do.  This would be correct.   So I wait it out.

So this is the anatomy of another Flair up.  I'll keep you posted about how quickly and completely it all resolves.  It's kind of reassuring to actually have one more relapse (though maybe I had one right after Christmas) to know that I really do have RRMS.

I've read through a lot of the forum today.  Boy, you guys are really handling yourselves well!  There really is good info here!!.  Would someone chase down the oldies, but goodies for the new people?  The threads on MRIs, and all the rest and bump them up.

Thanks, see you in the morning.  The ice packs are melting from the hot little butts of all the dodo-docs we've sent packing.  We may need to find a greener way to dispose of all these maroons!  Voodoo it is!

Today some of my strength has returned.  Hence, I'm back on the forum and hopelessly behind.  But, I've run out of ooomph for now and will see you tomorrow.
