No test such as a MRI rules MS in or out. The Neurologist takes a history, does a neurological test, reflexes, etc. and looks at symptoms. If he thinks you have MS then you get a diagnosis. For most of us we go through many tests and have the Neurologist watch us over time before they know whether it is MS.
Hi Tasha -
In a vacuum it sounds like there is evidence of lesions in in the supraventricular white matter, as well as smaller ones in other regions.
Was there a contrast MRI done as well. How do these findings compare to thofe of your MRI in July of 2012?
Have you found a new neuro?
