I'm doing well

I've been asked by a few folks in here how I'm doing while dealing with my wife's incarceration in the big city hospital.

Other than feeling exhausted most of the time, I'm doing just fine. I'm taking my meds more or less when I should be taking them, I'm taking my DMD and have arranged for a local drugist to resupply me next week, and so far various familly members have made sure I'm getting back and forth from the hospital 3 or 4 times a day.

So, I'm just my usual wobbly, uncoordinated, stumblebutt self. And I do appreciate your asking. This little MH group gives me a lot of support, and is a great outlet to vent my frustrations.

Thanks friends, I'm off to the hospital

Mike

It's amazing what adrenaline will do.  Ordinarily I don't trust myself to drive, but hubby was in the hospital for a couple of days a month ago, and I drove myself to the hospital and back a couple of times.  Slept in the room, and really didn't get much sleep.  When we got home from the hospital, I hit a wall and slept for a long time.  Then I took a nap!

I am so glad to read that you are taking care of yourself- you and the wife need each other too much to not do your best to stay upright.
hugs, L
