Incontinence?

I have started having little leaks over the past few days where I have little mini accidents - and not necessarily when I am doing something. Along with that, I have the constant feeling like I have to pee even if I just went (though often it seems there is a little bit showing up every time so apparently I am not doing a good job the first time around?)

I thought that perhaps it was a UTI (even though there is no pain) because of the pressure. Should I be concerned? Any help here would be great. I am undx but not sure if this is significant enough to raise flags - though am planning to go to GP for UTI test.

Thanks all :)

Wow, you should not delay in getting this investigated. You may not be emptying fully, and this can easily cause a UTI.

You don't have to have pain with a UTI. You don't have to have any symptoms at all, as some of us have found out. But they can be very dangerous to your overall health.

Even if your dip-stick test at your GP's is negative, you could have another kind of infection this doesn't test for, so the sample should be sent to a lab. And even if you have no infection at all, the leaking in conjunction with the need to go feeling should prompt your GP to refer you to a urologist, or preferably a uro-gynecologist, for testing.

Bladder problems are very common in MS. If testing should show that you have a neurogenic bladder, that would constitute more evidence that MS is the right dx for you.

Best wishes,
ess
