Julie (Sarah's Mom) is in hospital

Julie called me and asked  me to relay a message. She is so weak from the steroids i.e. she can't even lift her head off the pillow without help. Her doctor hospitalized her and will give her 2 more days of steroids to help with the relapse and then go from there.

She will get her prednisone taper 60 mg, 40 mg, 20 mg that she requested after the IVSM. She has no computer access and said she is so weak she probably couldn't answer any posts anyway. She is sleeping most of the time.

I told her that I would ask for thoughts and prayers to be sent her way. She said if there are any updates other that the current plan she would let us know.

I was afraid this was gonna happen.  :(   I am so sorry you are having such a rough time right now.  The hospital is the best place for you to be right now.  They better take real good care of you!

I hope to see you back here soon.  Please get your rest so you can regain your strength.

Ren, thanks for letting us know...

Thoughts are with you Julie.  I so wish you could have avoided this.

TAPER ALWAYS.  I recommend a tattoo for you that the neuro can sign off on permanently.

Wishing you well always.

Poor thing!  Having just been there it is so fresh in my mind..so frightening.  Please let her know things will get better.  It just takes time and to gift that time to herself.

Let her know I am sending strength her way.

Goodness, Julie.  I've been following that you were feeling puny but didn't know that you are this sick again.  I'm so sorry you are back in the hospital.

Ren, thanks for the update.  Now how are you doing while we're talking health issues?

gentle hugs to you both,
Lulu
