Limbo/mild/undx infrared sauna

I AM A LIMBOLANDER/UNDIAGNOSED.  I RECENTLY HAD FOLLOW UP MRI'S SHOWING NO CHANGE.  A FEW UBO'S NOT SPECIFIC MS BUT EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN RULED OUT, ACCORDING TO MY MS SPECIALIST.  HE SAYS I COULD GO FOR YEARS WITH THESE MILD SX.  HE SAYS TO TRY NOT TO WORRY AND STAY HEALTHY.  MY QUESTION IS THIS.  DOES ANYONE WITH "MILD" SX HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH INFRARED SAUNAS?  I KNOW MS AND SAUNAS ARE TYPICALLY A BIG NONO, BUT I DON'T HAVE A DX.  INFRARED SAUNAS OPERATE AT A LOWER TEMPERATURE BUT STILL RAISE THE CORE TEMP BY 2-3 DEGREES, STIMULATING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, DETOXIFICATION, CARDIOVASCULAR AND IMPROVED BLOOD PRESSURE EFFECTS BY RIDDING THE BODY OF TOXINS.  I HAVE DONE A LOT OF RESEARCH, AND FEEL I COULD OVERALL BENEFIT, BUT SOMETHING IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD SAYS DONT YOU DARE.  DON'T WORRY, I AM ALSO CONSULTING MY SPECIALIST AND PCP, JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAS OR KNOWS OF ANY POSITIVE/NEGATIVE FEEDBACK HERE.

I am also unable to give any feedback about infrared saunas but generally increased heat is not recommended for anyone who has MS. I would be wary about trying something like this personally but that is just my opinion. As you say you have not been dx'd with MS and you are going to discuss it with appropriate professionals. Generally the best thing to do for yourself is to eat healthily and exercise within your own limits.

Anyhow welcome to the forum and sorry that I cannot give you any insight into these saunas.

Be well

Hi, fdmh-

I, personally, have never heard of this so I can't give you an opinion.  Myself, I would search and search for info on it before attempting it.  I think I would be too afraid to try it...just because I know what saunas would do to me.

One request I do have is that when you post if you could break up your post into smaller paragraphs.  For a lot of people in the forum, there are blurry and double vision issues.  Breaking up the paragraphs makes it much easier to read.  Thanks. :)
