think we are years from a human use; look at how long Lemtrada fought to get the FDA approval! Interesting though, my husband, with NO MS takes that drug.
If it's only been done using the animal model of MS, there wouldn't yet be a determination as to the safety, dosage, or replicability of such a course for humans. A pilot study would be done first typically to determine if it even would demyelinate a human brain. It would be a highly unethical doctor to prescribe an ACE inhibitor off-label for a non blood pressure issue at this very early stage of the research.
There is a company who has obtained an Investigational New Drug licence from the FDA for testing purposes, but any movement towards the market is likely years off.
