MRI question

I have had a flare up of symptoms over the past couple of months which led me to pop in the disc of my last MRI. I had never read the radiologists report on the disk until now and the neuro. I saw basically wrote me off as a hypochondriac.

Here is what I read: Several punctate high T2/flair signal foci in bilateral subcortical white matter.  Demyelinating disease is not completely excluded.

The MRI did not change much from the previous one I had, but the second part about the demyelinating disease not being totally excluded made me wonder why the neurologist did not take the time to further investigate this.

I do need to go back to the doctor to follow up on the flare up I am having now along with new symptoms. I have put it off though because I am so discouraged.

Hello, I read all your posts and I am in the same weird medical position with you. My symptoms started one and a half year before..All my tests are normal but I do not feel healthy at all. I firmly believe that the root cause is an hormonal imbalance but no doctor can find out what is wrong with me. They think I am crazy as my tests results are pretty normal. Did you find out what is happening with you? Do you feel better now? I am so desperate
Thanks in advance

I am also following this post and have a similar situation. I think hormones are the blame. I have premature ovarian failure and ms like symptoms besides menopause symptoms. I am totally healthy and the last 10 years my life is a living hell. dr. are not willing to listen and are prescribing all sort of hrt to try to balance my hormones.

The last MRI I had is more than 2yrs old. Would it be reasonable for me to request to have it repeated since I am still having symptoms?
