MRI two lesions, 86 CSF protein, no OCBs

I went to optho for eye pain.  MRI showed two lesions.  LP showed the high protein with no OCBs, no IgG.  I have symptoms ranging from double vision, tinnitus, dizziness, diarrhea, and left eye pain that sometimes radiates to right eye.  MRI showed no optic nerve neuritis.  However from what I read only ~80% if MS patients have oligoclonal bands, so now I am confused.  The sx have been going on for about 8 months, but the dizziness and eye pain seems to be increasing.  A steroid challenge of 60 mg/day prednisone x 14d seemed to help.  Any comments?
