MS & CSF results

I'am 35 ys old male I have had MRI taken of my brain and neck and the result was Microvascular Ischemic cerebral lesions and the CSF test result did not show any pathological findings except mildly increased protein.what dose that mean? My symptons are ( Dizzy, lightheaded, sounds from my head hissing-like specially in the morning when i wake up, moody, no balance during the walking )  EEG and EP   had shown normal. I still have these symptons and the neurologist ruled out the MS . Any body has the same symptons especially the hissing- like sounds ? thank you

I'm 37 and have some similar symptoms:  slight dizziness and occasional weakness and twitches.  MRIs normal and CSF normal except for mildly elevated total protein.  I've had two neurologists say it's not MS.  I'm not convinced they're correct, but I'm giving the anxiety meds a chance for a few months (my weakness and twitches have improved--dizziness did but now it's back).  If your doc ruled out MS, what was his/her diagnosis?

Mildly-increased total protein can suggest inflammation, my infectious diseases doc tell me.  But my two neuros tell me it's no big deal when everything else is normal.  I don't know what to believe.

Good luck, and happy Thanksgiving.  :)

Not sure if I'd describe mine as hissing, but I do get weird sounds from my head near the top of my neck. No clue what it is, but my sisters get it too. They both have MS, but I don't know if it has anything to do with that or if it's just another goofy family trait that we're all so proud of, lol!
