MS, PD or ALS ? Completely scared !!!!

Stared 4 months ago while I was relaxing on couch I droped TV remote control 4x in 15 min.I noticed my legs were shaking.not a lot just for a few seconds. Started to get tingling n numbNess in my fingers,  toes n feet.they only last a minute.also my left eyelid would flutter for a few seconds and Mr foot would jerk for no reason. My shoulders have been sore with the left one more so.
And the big thing is I have this internal vibrating  in my body.I feel more when I sit down .its like a phone in your body vibrating. Very very scary.
Went to my GP. He says I'm just tired aND overworked which I am and extremely stressed. He gave me dizaapan. Which didn't help.
Went to my neuro.she tested me clinical with hammer n asked me questions and she gave me a test with electrodes on my head n monitored me for 3 days..
She also gave me emg/nvc test on my lower half.legs and calves..they all came b ack negative. She said I had an mri Of my brain n stem 6 months earlier which was also clean..
Don't know what to do.still have symptoms. ...scared

Hi and welcome,

Back in Feb you posted in the Muscular Dystrophy community your fear of MS with slightly more details closer to when it started and prior to any neurologic testing...

"Started feeling a very bad pain in the back of my left calf.Didn't know where it came from.
Last 4 weeks I've had pain in both my shoulders but more so in left. Now I do know that in The month of Nov I was lifting 5 gallon pails of hot water due to a boiler malfunction in my house. ( every 30 min ) lifting akward positions..
When I come home from work (overnight) fatigued abs tired I usualy sleep 4 hrs a day.I notice I have been dropping the remote control out of my hands.( 4 times in 20 min) I was getting nervous.why.
Then I've had a left eyelid twitch for 2 days.
Opthmalogist says infection in my eyes..
Now I have a strange sharp pain in my pointer finger."

(within 24hrs)"When I sit I feel my legs feet and buttocks vibrating. .also numbness  and tingling in toes n feet and fingers."

So with this additional information i think the only suggestion i have is for you to seriously consider the possibility of something health related happening to you that has triggering you to become overly worried about your health and the benefits of sitting down and having a chat with a therapist to give you some extra support and guidance and find out if there is something psychological going on at the moment...its always in anyones best interest to have additional support when they can, therapists support people with many different medical issues and it definitely doesn't hurt to have the support!

Good luck.....JJ

Jj , just one question can this all be from anxiety and stress ??
Mental health condition like anxiety can definitely cause physical symptoms that mimic or are similar to a physiological caused medical condition eg Tremor a psychological generated tremor say from anxiety, produces a very different pattern than a physiologically generated tremor that is caused by damage to the central or peripheral nervous system.

A psychological tremor will significantly reduce or disappear completely with distraction and appear, spread or escalate with the amount of focused attention a person gives to it and or the amount of anxiety they are experiencing.

Anxiety that is health related can be triggered from personally experiencing or some they know experiencing a genuine health scare but it can also develop for many other reasons,  their anxiety unconsciously makes them become overly afraid that something is seriously wrong with their health, the more they think about something being a sign of a disease, talk about it, read about serious medical conditions etc the more it feeds their anxiety and fears that something is medically wrong...

Mental health is a legitimate medical condition that can be diagnostically ruled in or out just like any other medical condition, and if the underlying cause is mental health related then you have medication and behavioural treatment options available that will help you change your tomorrows, it's always going to be in your best interest to consider the possibility and seek a professional medical opinion IF the possibility of a mental health causation has some basis of validity!

I hope that helps.....JJ
