MS Seminar

Hi I have been invited to a MS seminar by my current Neuro, do you think that it is in my best interest to attend?  I do not know if that was his idea to call me and invite me...Or if Lisa had called all of his patients and invite them..I doubt she was able to call all of them, considering how many patients he has.  But how do they select who they call...On what basis...Should I go?

It is here in Savannah, this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., I just do not know if it is really worth it...Esp since my last MRI of my Spine came back normal...I would hate to do another one of my brain, even though it has been about 7 months since my last one...I do not see why I would go if he is not sure of what it is...Please give me some advice...How long did it take for you all to be diagnosed..

Honey...you say in your mood that you are frustrated, depressed and exhausted...why not see if they have anything to offer you to help to make yourself feel better?  I would jump on it if I could go!  Knowledge is power my dear and in the case of most of us with MS, we need all the power we can get!

Hi, Thester!  I've been meaning to write you, and I'm glad you're still hanging around!  Yea!

Go!  You'd better go to the seminar and tell us all about it.  I think it's significant your doctor's office phoned to invite you.  I work for a very busy surgeon, and if we had to call EVERYONE to invite them to a talk of his that may not be relevant to them, we'd be on the phone round the clock!  He has thousands of patients.

Like Ess says, ask.  I bet they'll tell you why.

Take care and let us know how everything's going, frustrating as it is.

Go! Why not? You could learn something of interest to you, and to the rest of us too.

There's no way to tell how you came to be invited unless you ask, so why not do that too?
