Mediastinal mass

Hi all,
I had yet another MRI last week. It showed no new lesions, but it did show a large 1. "Mediastinal mass, possibly an enlarged lymph node or nerve sheath tumor. CT scan and further investigation is warranted."

I am freaking out. I've already had an X-ray and several blood draws, but I've yet to get answers. Have any of you had any similar findings on a thoracic or cervical MRI?

I'd try and stay calm until you see your doctor.  Do you have a follow up appointment after your MRI?

Perhaps they are waiting for the blood tests.  Some blood tests take weeks.  I had a neuro appt on the 15th and am still waiting, they said 2-3 weeks on the tests as they have to send them out to labs.
