Propanolol (generic Inderal) is often prescribed for tremors, regardless of cause. This is a blood pressure med, a beta blocker, so you'd need a small enough dose to keep your BP at a good level (which of course is easy to check).. Other than that, I don't know any drawbacks.

Glad you bumped this, Sierra. I've been watching for replies as I have tremors as well and would like to hear about a helpful med. I am not on any medication at all right now, but that would be one I would consider as tremors can be quite pesky. Mine are postural and intention as well, but my dr thinks they're related to MG, not MS, if I understood him correctly. I don't know if the cause makes a difference in which meds may be helpful.
Personally i would be looking at changing or dropping any medication, if by taking it makes other sx's worse, or adds to your sx list, especially if they have the potential to cause even bigger problems to your life, than you would otherwise be dealing with. I always think its better to change medications until you find one that works best for you, than to add another medication to handle the side effects, if and when thats at all possible.
Sometimes the side effects are well worth it, but other times why your taking the medication, doesn't give you enough overall benefit, that's all about your individual sx's, needs and preferences, life style, employed or not etc. weighing up the benefits vs the negatives is always a good idea imho.
This is a good site on types of tremors, meds for each and goes into medical induced tremors etc, you might find it of some help and give you some ideas.
