Miracles do happen occasionally he he

I have been trying to get in to see a lung specialist since January 2008. My lying gp kept saying either that she had already sent a referral letter or she was going to send a referral letter.  Well, last month I called the lung specialist and they had just received the letter and would be calling me.

Well...TODAY I GOT THE CALL!!!  I am finally going to get in to see the lung specialist on Thursday July 17, 2008 which ironically is the one year anniversary of my quitting smoking!

So, I will finally find out if in fact it is COPD that I have and that I am being treated in the best manner available.  Back in January I even ended up in ER due to an inability to breathe and was very worried that I might have something more than COPD but I think now I can be assured that I don't have lung cancer or I would probably be dead by now due to the prompt care I received from my lying gp.  Wish me luck and I will let you know how my appointment goes next week!

Lots of Hugs,

Rena

p.s.  now I only have to wait to hear of my neuro-psych consult and my hearing test and of course my form that I am waiting for my gp to fill out for CPP...again she said she would fill it out upon receiving it and get it sent off to the government right away when I spoke to her on June 16th...I spoke to her office today and the form is still on her desk since June 23rd and she has done nothing with it and so I catch her in yet another untruth and promise broken!

I am really happy about this turn of events and I am hoping that when they say things happen in three's that means good things as well!

Unfortunately my lying gp and the evil neuro have been roasted on several occasions and it seems that the hot coals of h*ll don't seem to affect them...they just continue on with singed little red horns...tee hee

I have sent you a pm regarding quitting smoking though and I hope it will be of some help honey!

Lots of HUgs,

Rena

I'm so happy you finally got the phone call! And an appt so soon. That means positive things are coming your way soon. It's always better to have answers, and be able to treat problems, than no answers and being ignored, by incompetent drs. Your deadbeat lying doctor's nurse could probably fill out the forms for you, then all you would have to do is get her signature. Is there anyone in the office you could ask? But then again, she would probably be gone on another vacation. I think we should have a roast this Fri night, and include her. Sounds like some of Ada's dr's should be thrown in the fire too.  I will be thinking happy thoughts for a good meeting with the lung specialist. I'm so glad you quit smoking. How did you do it? I'm having surgery in Aug, sinus/deviated septum and am supposed to stop. Haven't so far. But want to! Also have breathing difficulties they will re-check after recovery from surgery. Please let us all know how your appointment gos.

Hugs & Prayers, Maggie

Ha ha ha ha...you sound just like Spastic Ada...she has been threatening to come to my country and do just that "punch her square in the face"!  he he he

I would but I have no choices in medical care right now and even if it ***** I have to push on...and I have pushed on and will continue to do so until I get the dmd's I need!  I will win this fight and it's nice to know that I have lot's of people behind me...Thanks!

I just told a good friend of mine that I probably shouldn't be posting while I'm in the "mood" I'm in, but....What the heck.....

I also read your journal about the lying doc, and seriously I just want to find her and punch her square in the face....Would that be OK?   I mean, seriously....What is wrong with this IDIOT doctor that she can't fill out some paperwork that you've been waiting months for???  OMG, I don't know how you haven't totally lost it on her.....

Anyway...........on a more positive note, I think that the lung doctor appt you have that falls on your quit date for smoking really means something.....I believe in little things like that....(I believe it's a positive sign)

Keep trying to get through to that Lying Doc of yours....I hope someday you can....

Tammy :)
