Montel on Dr. Oz today

Talking about his MS, staying healthy, diet, 'anti-aging' stuff, things to increase energy.  He certainly seems pretty energetic, hyper almost.

I wasn't impressed. As previousely stated, a healthy diet can help anyone, but drinking lousy tasting tea every day is not going to overcome all our MS symptoms.

This segment might go a long way to improving sales of copper underwear and juicers, but it did nothing whatsoever towards promoting MS awareness. If anything, it gave the impression that MS is no big deal.

That's just my take on this show...maybe I was just grumpy when I watched it, although I will not be watching any future Montel/ Dr Oz shows.

re: suite... I meant suit...lol

he was wearing a top that had copper in it and was saying it helps?  so buy these tops and try them out??

I like Montel and used to watch him alot, but I agree that others will think that everyone with MS can achive this.  I know that is not correct and I know that I cannot go snowboarding or anything close to excercising more then stretching.

Everyone has different symptoms and at different stages, I wish he would include this information when he is promoting things and he mentions his pain etc.  Does he still take meds for his pain?  so much that he doesn't mention.  oh well... it's TV..

did anyone watch the David Susuki? last night... on CCVSS?  sorry I'm getting tired out here..

I don't think its his money.  He's been on Copaxone a long time and hopefully that is what is slowing his disease progression.  He says he smokes marijuana daily for his pain, which is one reasons I'm surprised that he often seems so hyper.  He was always an athlete...maybe he's just one of those naturally extremely energetic people and in his case, that offsets some of the effects of MS?

On the one hand, it troubles me that some people watch him and what they take away is to think all anyone has to do to beat MS is drink vegetable juice, take supplements and go snowboarding.  On the other hand, his eating a healthy diet and exercising absolutely contribute to his overall well-being, important for everyone to do but even more important for those with a chronic disease, and I don't think you have to have his kind of money to accomplish those things.  I can only speak for me, but my biggest roadblock in not doing better with these things is myself, meaning my own motivation.  I can't do what I used to do, but I could do better.

Maybe that's how he normally is- when he's not "supporting" medical marijuana?

Oops! Just kidding! Couldn't help myself. Sorry Montel! I love you, you're so handsome!

hi there, I saw this show today and wonder what is with Montel? Last time I saw him on Dr Oz, he was supporting medical Marj.  Now it's Root and Herbs that will help.

I'm guessing he bought a copper suite company and is looking to make a few bucks.  Not sure why he was so hyper?
