Tingling, cramping, heart rate issues, and anxiety can also be a sign of mineral deficiencies -- be sure to have a full vitamin/mineral panel done including magnesium.
Supplementing magnesium helped me get rid of my "whole body" symptoms, which are not caused by central nervous system lesions as ms is.
There is an ms mimic caused by low copper and too high a zinc/coped ratio hiwever that's unlikely here.
How do you sleep? A sleep study is recommended as well, because cardiac and neurological issues can both escalate in periods of sleep deprivation.
Keep us posted! It's so frustrating not having answers.
Hi and welcome,
I know it's very frustrating being in limbo but honestly, if all your neurologically related test results have been normal ie neurological assessments corroborating abnormal clinical signs, brain and spinal MRI's, nerve conductor tests, visual testings etc etc etc and the symptoms your experiencing being bilaterally in both upper and lower, there wouldn't be anything suggestive or be consistent with the causation being due to a neurological condition like MS, and more to suggest it's inconsistent so from my understanding MS is less likely the cause of what you've experienced...
I don't know if it will help pin things down at all but if your hands and face go numb and you get dizzy/lightheaded during these heart racing/shortness of breath episodes, what you are describing are the common signs of 'hyperventilating'. You've mentioned experiencing anxiety so you 'might' be experiencing panic attacks if all your heart related test results are normal but because my son was dx with panic attacks that turned out to be an allergic reaction, to believe it or not to his anxiety medication, i would suggest you consider looking into side effects of any medication you are taking.
Infection or inflammation can temporarily effect your copper levels but i honestly don't know much about it to guess if there could be something more to it....If you are additional feeling buzzed, jittery, sped up, hyper and talking too fast, i'd definitely recommend looking into this potentially being an allergic reaction, i have too many family members who react to chemical, additives, colouring, preservatives, hair products, sprays etc etc and describe feeling the same way when expose to their trigger(s) to discount the possibility, worth considering at least, right?
Hope that helps....JJ
Have you been back to the doc since? Sounds like you still might have a nerve issue
