Muscle spasms below the eye

Has anyone else experienced extensive muscle spasms, in the muscle just below the eye.  Mine has been constant, in the left eye, for over 4 days, so far.

I know they are most likely typical spasms, thanks to MS, and will cease soon.

Hey Stan,

I have a sizzle going on under my right eye, (not at the moment though) the lower bag area lol just about on my cheek bone, sizzles with really fine continuous tremors and it tingles too, its all weird lol at one stage i had this going on, whilst my left cheek muscle was pulling tight, like i was grinning hard with only one side of my face, errr that or half a face lift lol as i said its all weird!

Cheers.............JJ

Little "twitches" sounds like a good description, of it.

Ah, attacking facial muscles, great, oh well, not completely unexpected.

Suppose to be in the mid 90's, temperature wise, here, for the next several days.

Enjoy the nice weather all, and thank you.

Hey, are you getting little muscle twitches, or actual muscle spasms?  They call it a blepherospasm, but really it's a small twitch of the muscle around the eye.  This happens a lot with MS, as it tends to attack the nerves of the face first.

Yep, that explains it, thank you, it's been getting hotter, temperature wise, here in Kansas, oh well, that's the way the "MS ball" bounces, huh.

Take care and may God bless, you and yours.

Yes I have these a lot. Fatigue, stress, and heat make them worse. My neurologist says it's another part of ms. Last summer with the intense heat we had I had them nonstop for 4 months. It actually got to where they hurt.
