OT- Happy Mothering Sunday (UK!)

To all you yummy mummies, here in England we are celebrating Mothering Sunday, so I just wanted to wish all the fantastic Mums/Moms on this forum a very happy day as you are all special.  I think that you celebrate Mother's Day in USA in May if  I remember correctly and not sure about Australia or any other countries but hey we can all share each other's celebrations.

I have had a wonderful day, went to church with my Mum and Dad (although none of my three kids were around at that time) and then drove for two hours to have a delicious lunch with my sister and her family. We arrived to find that my nephew (aged 23) had set fire to their aga (cooker) which was smouldering from goose fat so that made it rather memorable! Feeling relaxed and happy and our farmer delivered some new born lambs this morning which just made it perfect.

Happy Mothering Day!!!! I am glad you had such a wonderful day!!!  You so deserve a wonderful relaxing day.  I am  happy you enjoyed this day and it was relaxing and carefree!

Mothering Day sounds so much more gentle than Mother's day.  I hope the day was wonderful for everyone.
