Had those nasty eroding teeth...my new one are really  nice but I will like em' better without the swollen face and bruises!  That's about all the info I can give right now on these painkilles  I'll be back in a few days.

Okay, for the rest of us Yanks...

That's 86 today (Monday), 91 on Tuesday, all the way down to 81 on Wednesday, all expressed in °F rather than °C, IIRC.

Haven't bothered to look at my local forecast.  Usually wrong anyway, right?

We pray that everyone has a more comfortable summer.

Rena, so glad you popped in with the update.  I'm glad the new teeth are working out for you.  Get out there and enjoy the summer before the snow rolls in again.

hugs, Laura

Hey all...hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Long weekend here for Canada Day but that means nothing to us!  Hubby has to work nights on Monday and we haven't any friends to play with anyway!

Well the worst is definitely over and I have to tell you that if you have to have this done the first 2 weeks are without at doubt HE**!!!!!!

So much pain, so not able to eat anything but soft crap like eggs and soup!  I am now eating my cereal and we had cold plates last night and the only thing I couldn't manage was the slice of ham...just too tough.

I do like my new teeth but there are a few adjustments to be made.  All in all I am glad that it was done because the teeth that were eroding I don't think helped the ms at all.  I have increased my Gabapentin and I know that is part of it but my speech has been really clear and no new absurd words popping out.  I am still going to see a speech therapist and see if they can help when it does get bad.  I actually hope that I don't get started until the fall because spring and fall are really bad times for my MS and it would be so much easier if they could see my issues full on!  Oh well, I will let you know what is happening.

I appreciate you all being in my cheer team...you have no idea how it makes my day/week/month!  With very little support left here it is hard stumbling through something like this with out it.

Now we are looking at a heat wave and I am thinking it will be a good test for the Gabapentin increase.  It's 26 today, 29 tomorrow, 30 Monday and 33 Tuesday 27 Wednesday!  I have my cooling scarves ready to go and if all else fails I am gonna hit the Motorhome for some air conditioning!

Thanks again for all your support people...you are my cheer team and I like it that way!

Lots of Hugs,
Rena705

I hope you're like me Rena; silly humour makes me feel better. (Thanks for the chuckle Mike).

Rena, on a MUCH smaller scale, when I had my four wisdom teeth out (they needed a jaw surgeon for it. Teach me to get around to it in my mid-twenties) at the same time I had no way to anticipate the level of discomfort. It was crazy! So multiplying that by 10 is too much to think about!

I truly, truly hope this at least becomes bearable for you soon. Or that you can have some relief, pharmaceutical or otherwise. You did an amazingly brave thing to ultimately improve your quality of life. I'm thinking about you and hoping this gets better soon. You take care of yourself.

I gotta tell ya...I WILL NEVER HAVE ALL MY TEETH PULLED AGAIN!

I am in so much pain and I haven't slept more than a couple hours since I got up Wednesday a.m.  The Tramadol I am taking make me really sleepy but as soon as I get into a sleep state, my stupid teeth touch together and it feels like my mouth is on fire!  I am sooooo tired I just don't know what to do cause I need to sleeeeep!!!!!

I would go through every other surgery I have had again if I could just take this stupid tooth removal back!

Rena in Pain and NOT happy!

I remember you stating that this was going to be done, and I've been wondering about you ever since. So glad it's over bar the healing. That kind of surgery is no joke! Thanks for letting us know you're on the mend.

Ow, that sounds painful!, Rena!  I'll bet your new smile is beautiful.  You'll have to post a pic once the swelling goes down.  Hope you can sleep off the worst of the pain.
