Sorry to hear of all the hassles! Doctors have no respect others' time, at least most, and they need it pointed out sometimes. I , of course for those who know me wouldn't doubt this, have done this. I did it as politely as I could, and Alex I know you are diplomatic so you wouldn't be rude , but it does work.
Alex, I sure wish you didn't have to see all these docs. wishing you the best!

I had my 4 year follow-up for my hip replacement on Wednesday. This required a blood draw, an MRI and an appointment with the surgeon.
Of course at one of the top orthopedic hospitals in the country they can't accommodate weekend MRI's or blood draws. So I had to take a day off. The capper of my day was that my surgeon seemed to have OD'd on Ritalin. I was in his presence for between 3 & 5 minutes! He was not even passingly interested in my having been diagnosed with MS since I last saw him...

I can relate to this. What is it with drs and insurance these days?! Sorry you are going through this.
I sure feel for you! That reads just like the stuff that happens at my VA and has been going on since 2008.

Alex, I hear you. Even navigating my relatively simple web of medical care takes a lot of time. Working M-F means I am doing calls from my desk at times or squeezing them in at lunch. I can't begin to imagine the amount of time You spend on the phone sorting out the details.
and for the screwups.... ARGH!!! I am so sorry this continues to be such a nightmare to navigate.
