Still off topic........this story warmed my heart: parents of a teen criminal doing the right rthing and turning the kid in. The world would be a better place if more parents held their kids accountable rather than making excuses for them, lawyering up and trying to get them off the hook for their crimes and misdeeds.

"The parents of a 17-year-old boy turned him in to Burnaby RCMP alleging he was involved in looting during the Vancouver riot.
The couple decided to contact police about their son after seeing photos of the looting at the Louis Vuitton store on the corner of Howe Street and West Georgia Street that were posted on the internet, RCMP said.
Police allege the teen was also linked to the destruction of a Vancouver police vehicle, which was flipped upside down during the rioting.
The youth, who cannot be named because of his age, is set to appear in court in August to answer to charges of break enter and theft, and mischief to property over $5,000."
Also, Lulu, I'm glad this ridiculous incident didn't change your mind about Vancouver. The thousands of people that went downtown yesterday with trash bags, brooms, etc., without beibg asked, to voluntarily help with the clean up, is a much better representation of that great city and its citizens.
DV - on the news tonightthey were saying that the rioters were connected to a group of anarchists who had no real connection to the game of hockey. They came prepared to cause grief. It sure doesn't change my view of Vancouver.
I have to say how disgusted and disappointed I am at the poor loser thugs who created such havoc after the game. Seven cars torched, including two police vehicles, many more smashed and turned over; department stores, restaurants and small businesses ransacked; several people beaten and four stabbings! Way to represent one of most beautiful cities in the world. Sad to watch this play out in my former home. Morons.
For anyone who planned to visit there some day, please don't let this change your mind. It's normally one of the most laif back, mellow and friendly places you'd ever visit.
LETS GO RANGERS! As in the Blue Shirts! Die hard NY Rangers fan here. Along with all the other NY teams!
Sorry about the CAnucks. I was hoping they would miraculously come back down 0 - 3.
DV - sorry for the loss but I have friends from Boston who are over the moon happy today.
Darn it. Oh well.
Congrats to the Bruins on winning the Cup!
I didn't watch but I catch the scores the day after.... it's not looking good, is it? 2nd place doesn't have that cool silver cup and must be a very cold place to have as a memory for the team players.
It probably happened because you couldn't clap and cheer them on properly with all that bracing on!
Mary
I quit watching after my Red Wings got knocked out of the series by a team that the NEVER should have lost to. :(
