Oldly and newly DX with MS

I new here. I am working on trying to find my way around the community pages, queries, etc.

I was DX possible MS 17 years ago by a neurologist. A second opinion said no, NOT MS. FIbromyalgia. Which I had already been treated for Fibro for a while. The MRI was done because of left side 'differences'~~heaviness, lack of sensation, left eye ptosis.

I was happier with hearing 'just fibro and not MS' so i went with that one.

About 12 years ago, we moved from city to country, from city water to well water. Within a couple years, nearly all my fibro symptoms ended. I was no longer needing to get numbing shots in my back for muscle spasms. yea! Life continued. When I would have what I considered a 'fibro flare' I would first be totally shocked and caught off-guard; then remind myself wow...this is how I used to feel EVERYDAY!; be thankful this was not my normal anymore and wait for it to pass.

Just over a year ago, I had a sudden onset of vertigo. I had past experience with 2 suspected migraine headaches in the past; one with definite visual disturbances. Thought this was a repeat. This event was different in that it lasted well over a month. Not a continual vertigo, thankfully, but at least some vertigo event daily for more than a month. My GP did an antibiotic round. No change. Did a second of a different anti-biotic, along with a CT. CT report was abnormal...prompted referral to ENT, and neuro. Resulted in MRI, and spinal, and the evoked potential tests.

So from you title, are we to assume the tests led to a diagnosis of MS?  I am so sorry you are faced with this but glad you found us here.  It's quite possible your MS went into remission about the same time you made the move and its not connected at all.

Welcome to the club!
