When my best friend and I met about 9 years ago, she said I reminded her of the smiling laughing baby that was the Sun on the Teletubbies show; I want my sunshine back!
I guess I'll find my laughter and laugh until I shine like the sun again, too, and try to spread some cheer.
You too, Wobbly, take those good three hours and make the most of them. I don't know if we'll make the "sunshine crowd" but this forum sure encourages me to try my best.
Now I'll go post about my doctor's visit. Some clouds in the forecast....

Kathy,
You know, for the first time, I sorta wish I was heading off to Disneyland myself! I never wanted to go, I can't stand things to twirl or go up-down-over-around but just going with you would be fun! I do hope those braces arrive and are just the thing you need for your fun trip....
so, you remember my "knight in shining armor"? When we found that at the musuem in NY we laughed so hard and then decided he would definetly take the place of that hot intern we had been searching for... he was all I had "ever dreamed for, and could carry me off into the sunset"... gracious good memories, you go and make a lot of good ones yourself, girl! And remember, you just have to laugh even when it hurts, becuase then you won't remember the aches ... just the laughter... you seem to be doing a good job of that already though, I'm quite proud, I think you could join the sunshine crowd any day that you would want to, you spread a good bit of cheer here yourself!!!
I hope that appt. was good, check in and let us know how it went.

I do have a pretty big suitcase, but I don't think it has air holes... Though it would be fun to go zipping around Dizzyland with you! I'm glad Granny Jo called it that; I'll have to keep that in mind while I'm there.
I will definitely check into those braces and see if they make them for wrists. I'll pick up the information about them and post or PM it. Its funny how what seems dreamy has changed over the years, ha ha ha!
I guess I'd better start getting ready to go to my appt. We had quite a wind and rain storm here last night so I want to make sure there aren't any traffic problems, plus I want to read my chart notes from my last visit before I see her today.
Love and Hugs,
Kathy
Hey Sweetie, okay first I have to tell you, I am so green with jealousy right now, Disneyland!!! But as Granny Jo says "Dizzyland", hehehe I am thinking of the teacups... I hope you have so much fun!!!
Those braces sound like a dream, definately let me know how it goes with them. Can you do me a favor? Can you see if they make wrists braces? I have a pretty nice set of them now, they have memory foam in them at right places but those inserts sound kind of dreamy....hehehe
Imagine go-carting through Disneyland, that would be so fun!!! I don't suppose you have any room in your suitcase??? :)
Love Ya Sweetie,
Ada
Sounds like all kinds of good stuff happening! Have a wonderful time at Dizzyland! We will be anxious to hear how the brace worked out for you, too! Keep on keepin' on! Granny Jo
I'm looking forward to the trip to Disneyland; I only went once when I was 9, and don't have real clear memories of it.
I'm going with my best friend, her daughter and son-in-law, and her three grandsons, ages 8, 8, & the youngest turns 7 on Thanksgiving day, thus the trip to Disneyland. I was really happy to be invited!
Kathy
I just found out that the authors of one of my favorite healthy cookbooks not only have a new cookbook out, but they have a show on The Food Network! More good news!
I learned that from a nice woman on the Healthy Recipe forum after I posted a recipe from a cookbook, and she wrote back that the authors live by her and told me about the show and new cookbook.
Let's keep the good stuff coming!
Sunny, knowing you on this forum reminds me to keep looking for the good. I was having trouble walking because of my knee aching, and my back was hurting, and then I could see the picture of you and your friend having a great time by the knights, and the smile on your face. I was able to walk without limping and smile. Thanks for the sunshine you bring to us all.
Kathy
You definitely have the right attitude about making a good day out of a bad day. I'll have to remember that for when I am having a bad day too.
I am so envious of your trip to Disneyland. I have very fond memories of going there so many years ago. That is something to really look forward to.
oh yayay! That does sound like a good bad day! I do have those on a regular occasion, and they are quite enjoyable! You have to always focus on the good and just discard the bad and then you are happy. I'm so glad for you, it sounds like she is really working to help you...!!!!
