Hey Richard,
We may be mainly women here but we do understand a thing or two about men as well. I'm glad you've let us know how much this non-action from the neuro has hurt. Get the meds balanced and you can continue doing this waiting game. You're too vested to get out now!! Lool
Thanks Heather, I am hanging in there as best as I can!

You sure have been missed buddy, but remember one thing will ya, I know what a great sense of humor you have and you totally crack us up, but you deserve to have some down days too. You can't be on top of the world all the time. We understand WHY you are having a poo-poo time of it right now. I am sure that most of us have been there, done that.
If you don't mind, I will continue my prayers for all of my friends here on the Forum and that includes you. I know how frustrated you are, at this point. If you want to pull some hair out, I have plenty...it goes down my waist. Grab away, if it will help relieve the tension. Promise me that what you pull out, you will hang in a tree for Spring time, so the birds can use if for their nests. Some birds will use human hair, other's perfer animal hair from your cat or dog. My dog is a Chihuahua, so I don't think she would appreciate anyone pulling her hair out to put in a tree.
Keep you in our prayers buddy. We love you....
Heather
I know you are looking to cook up some good neuro burgers, but darnit, you're getting me hungry! :-)
It's Friday--and I've got the campfire burning! Boy, do those roasting hot dogs smell good!
It is never too early to bash neuro's in my view!
I take medicine for blood pressure, because it has in the past skyrocketed. My Provigil doesn't cause my blood pressure to go up. I have no idea what I'd do without it. I increased it by 1/4 pill at noon, and I do think it's helping with my attention problem.
Is it time this Friday to have the neuro weenie roast, or is it too soon?
Deb
Try not to get too down. Your PCP will be able to help with some medication and your outlook will improve. Just put one foot in front of another (so to speak) until you can get your moods balanced. You are in my thoughts today.
Blessings,
Sally
I hate to see you going through what so many of us here have too... you not alone here and just remember to hang in and take care of yourself... don't let them take you too far down... I've been there and my friends here know that...
It's so difficult waiting for appt just to hear the same old thing... but thats what we are here for too...not only that...but that's a big one...
take care

MomZ,
I am taking adderall which I have taken for about a year and it works well for mental acuity, mood and energy levels until it starts wearing off around 3:00. I had stopped taking it at the request of my PCP/Psych Doc when this whole thing erupted.
Thank you all so very much for your support, it certainly helps to keep me going!

Hang in there buddy, we are here for you.

Hope you find something that will help. I'm sorry each day is a struggle, I can empathize. I'm taking a combination that has helped me have some good days so I hope you find something that will do the same for you. Take care.
Michelle
I'm so sorry you are struggling. Keep checking in here - its a good support system. Hope you get some meds that will help. Keep on keepin' on!

I can empathize that your appt being such a disappointment has caused you so much stress. It seems every time we get our hopes up we find there still isn't an answer and just more questions. I hope soon you will find the answers you are looking for. That shouldn't be too much to ask for?
Peace love and joy
Oh, dagnabbit, Richard! I wish you were doing better! I'm sorry you are still in recovery from your appointment.
What stimulant will you take? Is it one you've tried before? I am taking my Provigil now each day, and it absolutely gets me through my work day. If I didn't have that and my Starbuck's bold, venti with cream, I don't know how I'd make it through!
You will get through this, Richard. We're here!
Feel better,
Zilla*
