Research Match Service

On my last trip to OSU I picked up a newsletter that had an announcement about a new service that matches researchers and research volunteers.

This is a national registry, coordinated by Vanderbilt University.  According to the article this was just started in the winter, and already there are 158 active studies, almost 300 researchers and over 50 institutions using the service.

This site is not exclusive to one particular disease such as MS - so if you have friends or family who would also like to help with scientific research they could sign up, too.  There are more details on their website.

The website is

Thanks PD- I think it is important to get the word out about these opportunities to help.

I was recently contacted thrrough NARCOMs about a study here in Ohio, but I didn't quality because I am left-handed.  Obviously the test was designed for people not in their right brain. LOL

This site isn't just for clinical trials.  It could be surveys or other information gathering tools that you can do from home.
