Sold a painting today!

I hung my art show today 38 paintings. It took 4 hours and I was exhausted when I got home. Two hours later I had sold my first painting of the show.

For a year I had dropped out of the art scene because of my depression and the MS testing and diagnosis. It has been hard since it is my profession. Now I feel alive again.

Wendy Booker inspired me to get back out there.

Yeah for Wendy for inspiring you to return to painting.  Would you be willing to put some of your art work on your profile?  I would love to see it and hey, if you are in the DC area for a showing, let me know as my DH are always in the market for good art.

Good for you, Alex.  Taking that first step is always the biggest one. I'm  so glad Wendy inspired you to do more with your life, but don't sell yourself short on all the advocacy work you have been doing this year.  That's a big one too.

Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you. It's good to know that you can pick up where you left off.  What a fantastic confidence booster and mood elevator. Could you bottle up that feeling and sell it?  I'm sure it would be a fast seller!
