MS can actually cause lesions anywhere.  The problem is, in most places, those lesions can also be caused by other conditions so they can't be used for a diagnosis.

The McDonald Criteria (2010) for ms looks for certain areas that are "more likely" to be areas affected by ms, although other conditions can also cause those to make it even more confusing.

They also look for lesions that are a typical shape -- ovoid rather than round, and in the perventricular area, long thin lesions called "Dawson's fingers".

A lumbar puncture or spinal tap does not directly prove ms, but is often used to rule out other conditions.

Having said that, within the context of ms, you might see an elevated IGG index and a slightly elevated protein index.  Your protein index is substantially elevated and I have no clue what that means, but it would be a good question for your neurologist.

The main thing that neurologists look for is the presence of oligoclonal banding.  Was any mention made of o-bands found in the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) and/or the blood serum?

it said no O bands see attached report which is what I posted
What did your brain mri report suggest under impressions or conclusions?  Did you have VEPs done?

The diagnosis of ms can be lengthy, mostly because there are around 300 mimics and most conditions that start out looking like ms, don't end up being ms.
