OH CANDACE THAT IS NOT FUN AT ALL! I HOPE YOU START FEELING BETTER SOON? I HAVE HAD 2 FEVERS IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS THAT GIVES ME THOSE MINI FLARE UPS IT JUST SEEMS TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY.
TAKE CARE AND LOTS OF HUGS,
CORRIE
Those are pseudo-exacerbations - a flare of our MS symptoms caused by infection or increase in our body temperature. The good news is those also go away once you clear up the infection.
Sorry but I had to chuckle quietly as I read your message because I have done the same thing - oblivious to the possibility until it finally dawns on me that I am in the bathroom for the twentieth time or so before noon. I can be so dense about the signs that it is a UTI but fortunately I haven't had one for some time now.
I hope you get better soon!
Laura
And the weird thing is, I get UTI's all the time now. Never used to, and no idea why. Glad you figured it out, and that you'll be feeling better soon.
Lulu... That is what my ms nurse said too... But to watch to make sure the symptoms do go away bc a uti can cause a true flare too.
Honestly I did not notice the uit for a few days bc of my ms issues come with bowel problems so I was already running and cramps from that... Tmi
Aspen too... This is the first uti I have on record too... I know I have had them before but they clear up on their own usually. I hope I won't have another now.
