Hi Sarah,
How proud you must be of your son. It always warms my heart to hear of someone volunteering for a loved one. You did good mom.
Regards, barb
Wow, Sarah, you never told me that. I'm proud of him too, and YES the money will hopefully help some of us if not all of us. But, with MS being so different for everyone, we need TONS of volunteers out there doing the same thing.
Give him my thanks too , ok ??

Wow good for him. It's so bloody hot in Texas....a two day bike tour must be pretty gruelling. Grateful for everyone who raises $$$ to find a cure.
People do not know much about MS. It started with an ad in the New York Times. A siste ran the ad for her brother, a recent war veteran. He had been diagnosed with MS. She wanted to find out about a cure for MS. The MS Society was formed to find a cure. The federal government gives very little to MS research. The MS Society pays for most of the research. They are funding well over a 100 studies at the moment. In our area they have a pilot program to train PT students to work with MS patients. They give scholarships at UNC.
These bike rides are so important and especially the riders. Thank your son.
