Tingling hands, feet, arms, legs and now face?!?

About a year ago, I was lying in bed and all of a sudden I felt a tingling sensation go up my left arm. I thought I was having a stroke!
I am a 38 year old female btw.
Ever since my feet, legs ( up to my knees) my arms and hands are tingly. My tongue too! It's been on and off but lately it's everyday and I feel weak and heavy.
My face is now tingling. It feels like warm liquid is pouring down my ( mostly) right side temple. I have also felt like something is pouring over my head.
I hAd an MRI last year and everything looked ok. I've been tested for Lyme, which was neg. My ana blood test was also negative.
I am really getting scared. What is this? Why is it getting worse and moving now to my face?
Any help is appreciated!

Hi mom cop,
Last year I had tingling that started in my left leg and worked its way up my left side, into my head and tongue. I had a lot of other symptoms at the time, but after all of my testing came back normal, my Neuro doc said it was migraines with stroke-like symptoms. I don't have migraines too often and the diagnosis seemed silly.

I still have the tingling on my left side but unless I stop and think about it... I don't really notice it. It's more of a reminder to me that all of my other symptoms went away thank goodness.

Best wishes. M

It could be anything Neurological. It could be benign fasiculation syndrome which drives you nuts but causes no real harm. Only a Neurologist can figure it out. There are over 800 Neurological disorders and over 30 mimics.

I wish I could help.  I'm not sure what is causing your neurological symptoms, but MS doesn't seem very likely- from what you're describing anyway.  MS, especially at the beginning, is usually felt on one side of the body or the other.

I would ask the doctor to test for a thyroid condition.  Thyroid problems are known to cause neurological symptoms. Certain vitamin deficiencies also cause neurological symptoms. And I know this will be a nearly impossible request, but try not to worry so much.  This can actually cause (or
intensify) symptoms.

I hope you find the answers you need.
