UNDER ARM MUSCLE PAIN

Hello Everyone!

How is everyone feeling tonite?  As best that could be expected probably right?  Well, in that case hope you feel better tomorrow.  I think I already posted about the first half of this post.
I might have posted it on the Neuro forum.  You know what, I don't remember.  Imagine that.  Well anywa, I saw a new rheumy last week, cause I moved to another state, and he says he's testing me for several autoimmune, including the Lupus I was dx with 7 years ago, cause my symptoms never worsened.  So I geuss that's not the norm with Lupus.  He feels alot of my symptoms sound more like MS, and wonders whether I've been misdx.
I was told the ON could be from the Lupus instead of MS, because I had a lesion in the Gray MAtter instead of White Matter (basal ganglia).  Anyway the other neuro said the ON probably from Lupus,

My Rheumy, didn't seem to jump on that thought.  I'll keep you posted.  My question is, does anyone have a problem with under arm muscle pain, involving both arms.  It seems to be soar all the time under my arms and kinda runs down the underside of the arm.   It doesn't last all day, just seem to notice it certain times when of course I move it certain ways, or when I pick something up, or reach or lift my arms up.  It almost feels like, if you've ever used crutches under the arm, they're uncomfortable.

I feel so horrible lately, certain areas hurt.  1 spot on my ankle, under my feet, especially my left,  the vertigo was brutal today,  The ON cleared up, but my eyes, especially my right eye, hurts all the time, burns, and the lid feels weak, like it wants to close all the time.  Alot of pressure behing eye too, and the sunlight especially kills me.
My Opthalmologist said that I could still have residual discomfort in the eyes, plus I have chronic dry eye which I didn't know I had.  The fatigue is really bad, but can't sleep at night, the internal bzzing and tremors drive me crazy at night, along with the muscle jerks in certain areas.   Sorry guys, just venting, feeling sorry for myself lately.  I'm just frustrated cause I'm going through a move still.  I'm only renting, until I can get into my permanent home, moving is very stressful, especially when your're not feeling up to it.

Well let me know what you think?  I'll stop now, I tend to go on and on and on.
Thanks for listening!   Hug to Everyone, and a good nite!    Sandie

Wow! I could have written your post. I have the same kind of underarm pain and it really hits me when I over exert myself (my idea of too much activity is holding the phone up too long or driving a couple of miles - no heavy lifting here). I don't get it on both sides, just on the left. I have described this to my hubby the same way - like I have been on crutches all day. When it's real bad I say it feels like someone hung me from the clothesline by the armpit all day. It usually comes and goes, but I just had a long 2 week period of consistent arm pain, where my pain is usually more intermittent. I attribute this to the holiday season and not giving myself enough rest periods/more activity than I am used to.

Hi Sandie

boy, sorry to hear your going through all this stuff and the Dr can't find answers for you.  I hope you get some soon.  I have had pains under my arms, that come and go.  I didn't know what caused them and never have asked my Dr about them.

I haven't had them bother me for quite awhile now and hope it doesn't start up.  My pain was under the arms, one or the other, sometimes both...but mostly one or the other.. and went down abit and across abit... I tried stretches to see if it helped.

I think only times helped it.. take care and stay in touch, let us know how things go
