this week: -0.4, total loss: 12.2
I think all the Thanksgiving cheating caught up with me. I shouldn't be discouraged though because it is still almost a half pound loss this week. I need some super motivation to keep going though. Like maybe a ridiculously expensive pair of jeans?
Have a great week!!

Hi all, I'm not sure if I lost or not. My cheap-o scale tells everyone they weigh 60 lbs. We all love it, but I think it's time to get a new one. However, going by my clothes, I have lost 2 pant sizes since starting. yippie!! yea!! yeehaw!!
Hopefully I will have a new scale by next week. Keep up the good work all.
I'll be praying,
Carol
I am glad you get to cheat with your son, sounds like the best reason to me, and you didn't gain. That is great! I know how hasrd it is when your kids can eat everything in sight, and it smells sooo good, Pizza especially! Ideas???? HHMMMM, maybe before you eat a meal when your son visits you could try to fill up on a salad, and that way you won't want as much of the other "bad" (delicious) foods. It's hard, but we can do it. Enjoy your visits, Terrie
Please let us know how your dr. apt. goes. I hope you feel better soon. Of course your health must come first before anything else. It does sound like fluid retention with such fluctuation. We will be here as always rooting for you. Terrie
Hi Losers, :)
I haven't lost. Been focused on other things.
Have trouble with const. Some days don't go at all. My weight can be up by 5 - 6 lbs in one day, and down the next. Think there is fluid retention going on as well.
Will get test results soon and dr. apt tomorrow afternoon. Will focus on weight later....

I seem to have stalled, no loss or gain this past week again..of course I've been cheating some LOL Trying to do low carb, and do great all week, but on weekend when my son visits he wants Chinese, Pizza, mashed potatos etc. Since I only get to see him 1 day a week, it's really hard to say no to him! Any ideas? Just started some stretching exercises, but with DDD and in a fibro flare, really hard right now. Weather also cold and windy here in Northwest....................M
Hi Jo, try to use some weight training into your routine. They don't have to be too heavy. Research has shown that lifting weights burns more calories than aerobic exercise because you continue to burn all day even when you are done exercising, whereas aerobics you burn while you are exercising. You may find yourself hungrier, but that is because your internal furnace is burning your fuel, Just be sure to eat real food like you are. Take care, Terrie
Ola !
I would like to join the virtual losers.. Have tried many things and can't seem to lose a lb. I eat so much better than I ever have ,, almost all organic , hardly anything that is processed .. no matter how low my energy is I walk 30-50min. 4-5 times a wk. lots of h2o and vits.. no dairy (allergies) I'll check out the Swank diet .
