I've lost 2.8 lbs. The past week. This gives me a total of 4.7 since we started. The Malaysia lack of progress was overcocme.
My weight fluctuates dramatically - probably due to water retention.... I was peeing all day yesterday although I wasn't drinking much and today I am suddenly much lighter....
Am on steroids for asthma, so hopefully that doesn't slow things down.

Check in: Well, I must be honest. Even though I started this whole "lets lose weight together thing", I have not been very dedicated. I am coming out of a really exhausting few weeks and finances are a big concern right now. With my addictive personality I tend to eat to comfort myself. I was able to get some lawn work done this weekend since it was cool and it felt great to accomplish something physical again. Blah, Blah, Blah . . . . .I gained another pound so I am back where I started. I am going to change things up a bit this week and try to just go low carb and not no carb like I had originally planned.
Thanks to you all for helping me stay accountable to myself and my health! I really appreciate all of your strengths!!
I did weigh in yesterday, but didn't check in because of the holiday. I hope I am not the only one that has that excuse...looks like we are losing a few losers here.
As you all know, I had a slight gain last week...So, I broke the rules and I weighed myself every day this week. I couldn't help it because it was motivating me...I just saw the weight coming off ever day.
I lost 5 pounds exactly this week!!! Total weight loss 7.8 pounds.
I will just keep making those ketones and burning that fat!!! I am doing one more week of Phase I of South Beach Diet. I cheated on Saturday because I went to a wedding. I had a few glasses of wine and a nice piece of cake. I did skip the potatoes and bread at dinner though.
This week I plan on cheating on Thursday, as it is my day of birth and nothing can hold me back from a piece of birthday pie.
Next week I plan on cheating on Thursday too...for Thanksgiving.
I think that is working out nicely for me, one day of cheating a week. I don't think I could do it without that.

Sorry I missed yesterday. I have lost a total of 11 pounds! So cool. It probably has a lot to do with my daughter moving out and now I am not tempted by her goodies she would bring home. I will miss the next 2 weeks as I will be on vacation. Even if I gain weight, I feel like I am ahead of the game.
Here I am here I am. Well, can't say for sure how I did this week, because I forgot to weigh myself yesterday morning, and then did the same today! Fog for brains. However, I think I may have gone up, if my late day weighing correlates at all. Best to get back to exercising again...and I am so glad the Halloween candy is almost gone! Ugg!
