It sounds like there are a lot of follow-up appointments this week - I hope you all get the results you need to get on with feeling better. Be sure and let us know how it goes, ok? - Lu
I don't have much happening this week which I am really glad.
I have to follow through with the ENT surgeon on Thursday at 9:00---hopefully he will remove the stone and be done with that.
I have to take Flutterbye my little cocker spaniel to the vet to get her stitches out. She had a toe removed 2 weeks ago. Hopefully she will be happy with 3 toes.
That's it.

Monday through Friday work an 8 hour job. Monday saw my Neruo. Monday through Wednesday have solumedrol drip. Tuesday mow lawn. Thursday catch up with boyfriend.
Saturday go watch a chick flick with my girlfriends. Sunday have two MRI's and Monday through Sunday walk the dogs.
Throughout the week I will find time to rest and read in the available spaces along with light housework.
Today I see the practise nurse hopefully to remove the dressing from this stupid burn. She tried last week and told me to moisturizes my hand every hour, but within 2 hours a layer of skin had slid off my hand and i need the dressing put back on.
Wednesday I see the GM consultant who is managing symptoms, while my neuro just sits there and says he dosen't know whats wrong and wants to keep and eye on me to see what happens. The GM is very pleasant and helpful, and long as it's him we see tomorrow and not his registar who is pretty useless. Will keep you all updated.
The rest of the week is pretty full on as i have a member of staff away and I have to cover there lessons. Which means longs working days and because this means I am now teaching the younger student I have to be much more active, with lack of co ordination and balance that's difficult.
For the most part all I plan to do is rest, rest, and some more rest. I did buy a new video game to play so that I don't go crazy while resting. :)

Working 4 days this week (and they're beating me up already!).
Dental appt. and Tysabri infusion Wednesday.
Hoping to ride my bike Saturday.
Oops hit the post by accident. Rest of today was finding out that I have a Pain Management appt on Friday and apparently the MRI that was schedule for on Thursday has been moved to Oct.
Tuesday-Gather all necessary SSDI papers and mail them off. A true challenge in this cog fog.
Wednesday- PT
Thursday - NOTHING! =) =)
Friday - the appointment I knew nothing about. Actually, that's not entirely true. My appt last week showed some changes and voila appts coming out of the woodwork. My neuro said it would be about a month to get an new patient into the Pain doc.
Monday - Had my phone interview with Allsup, the company handling my SSDI claim.
I have started my second week of P.T. for my R- Achilles, I have chronic Achilles tendinitis.
Later in the week I have friend coming over to clean the gutters, extension ladders are no longer an option for me to climb.
Nothing else going on, cut the grass that's about it for me...
I am in shock that the Bears beat the Cowboys , WOW !!

Hello Everbody!
Mon- Me and my husband are taking my daughter and her cousin to the fair for the day. Then, we will drop them off so we can return to the fair tonight for the Queensryche concert. (My guilty pleasure...80's bands :-) My husband is being such a good sport by taking me!
Tue- Dr appt with myGP re my hip pain. I remember when I fell about 2 months ago and that is about the time my hip began hurting so much. Possible X-ray to see if anything happened. Birthday dinner for my husband's sister followed by linking up with my sister to celebrater her son's 21st b-day. We will take him out for a first 21-yr old drink. I can't drink unfortunately, but I will cheers him!!
Wed- taking my daughter to the craft store so we can paint some canvas to hang in her room.
The rest of the week is open! Our weather is overcast with rain showers here and there, but that's Washington State for you!
Have a fabulous week everyone!!
Hi everyone!
My husband is home right now. He was told he will be going back to Michigan today, but that changed and now he is not sure if he is going back at all. (he works with a emergency response company for natural disasters) It would be nice to know, either way!
I have my follow up from my MRI on Wednesday. I was supposed to go 2 weeks ago, but was sick and had to cancel. I actually am having an endoscopy tomorrow. I had such bad stomach pains for about 4 days, with a fever. The GI doc thinks it could be an ulcer. I had some blood work and tested postive for S Cerevisia (sp). Whatever that is! I just hope I get some answers. It is really depressing being tired all the time. I don't know if it is because of this latest illness, or possible MS, or EBV or what!
The weather is beautiful! I love this time of year. It is warm during the day and cool at night. The leaves are starting to change, too.
Have a great week everyone.
Maureen
I have a baby with a cold right now. Luckily she is still in a good mood, but I'm expecting more snuggles and extra crankiness from her soon.
Not much else going on. I need to get my 11-year-old into the doctor for a booster shot of one of his immunizations. I made the mistake of telling him, and he spent yesterday worrying about it :-(
On Saturday morning we are doing our local Kidney Walk at the zoo. My cousin-in-law received his second kidney transplant about 8 months ago, and luckily his body is accepting it great! After the kidney walk, we will take the kids to the children's museum. Gotta love free admission days LOL

I have a five-day workweek facing me with no appts or major distractions. I'm back to the gym routine of body sculpting class (weights) and Tai Chi twice a week. I've been trying to hit the pool twice a week, too. So can someone explain why I continue to gain weight? LOL
The weather forecast calls for lots of sun - so I hope to be outside and getting my Vit D naturally!

I haven't given up yet, i've got an appointment at the end of the week with the new GP, that will be interesting or not. I'm not sure what i'm going to say, only things i can think of to ask is how can some one my age loose definable neurological functions and it not be caused from something neurological?
What none neurological disease will explain all my physical, cognitive and communication issues?
The other question i have is why do i always feel good, with more energy when i have a bug, i've had a runny nose and red raw throat for 2 days and i feel well good, so why?
I might even be cheeky and ask him if i can drive my car? DH will go tropo if he says yes, ohh that would be funny, if he does i'm going to ask him to put it in writing ROFL
I should have an appointment with the optomitrist first, she's trying to squeeze me in later in the week, so hopefully two appointments this week and possilby testing starting next week.
Cheers.......JJ
PS have a good week everyone!! :-)
A busy week ahead but some fun as well as mundane things. Decorators in all week painting and decorating my newly fitted out bedroom. Can't wait for it all to be finished.
Tuesday - Seeing client first thing and then my best friend (for 43 years since we were both aged 4) is coming to see me and I have not seen her for ages or since I was dx'd. She is taking me to the Birstol Eye Hospital for more screeening ofr drug trial as I cannot drive afterwards as they dilate your pupils. We are then going to a spa for some girlie time and a massage...can't wait.
Wed - Supervison first thing, then meeting up with friends for lunch, and then taking daughter to singing lesson
Fri - Car being serviced.
Hope everyone has a good week and I am trying to stay well...but daugther is developing a cold/sore throat which is not good news.

Not too much going on for me this week.
Wednesday- School starts for me, this is my second year of college, I am taking online course this year because all the walking on campus is not doable for me. Taking my mom to the cardiologist to get some testing.
The rest of the week no major plans, will just wait and see how things play out.

Congrats, Alex. Quite an achievement, 29 years. We pray it gets easier for you. Regardless, this is something for which we will give thanks. Great job.
My week includes working on the church sign, then pantry shelves. Murphy's Law has kicked in on both, but I am claiming both as learning experiences. Bought some nice new toys, too. Last was a Craftsman scroll saw. Should provide years of fun.
Calling hours Wednesday for a man crushed while working on a car Friday night. His sister is a partner in one of the businesses from whom we've drawn substantial support; she's actually the one doing our sign lettering. Their father died in July after a long illness; this on top of that has taken quite a toll, as you'd imagine.
Later today I am taking stepdaughter to dentist for follow-up on a major overhaul he gave her last week. We hope this will be all she needs for a while.
That may not be my whole week, but it's all I have in either the God-given memory or the electronic ones.
