I believe this is a form of discrimination, whether conscious or not I don't know. It happens to me also. They don't want the less desirable of us near the door where people might choose to come on in. When I see that they are walking me to the back I always balk and state that I cannot walk that far.

They probably don't know how to spell "me". LOL
Thanks for the heads up with the nose. After reading up on vasomotor rhinitis it fits very well with what happens to me. Not only do I get the stuffy nose when I eat I also will get a runny nose for no reason and also have sneezing fits for no reason.
Here is another one.
Ever since I started using a cane, when I go to a restaurant if I have my cane they sit me as far as possible from the door, but if I don't have my cane they sit me near the door. Are they afraid you will trip people as they come in or what? LOL

Why do none of the writers on TV know the difference between subjective and objective pronouns??
Character: "Are you sad to see him and I together?"
What? Has it become illegal to utter the word 'me" on the air? I gnash my teeth and scream every time. Heck, Sherlock (on Elementary) gets it wrong routinely. Sheesh!
There is a type of vascular instability in the nose called vasomotor rhinitis. It's the kind that causes stuffiness along with the tears. The tears alone would suffice. It's why I sneeze three times whenever I step on a cold floor with bare feet.. I presume that's why your nose gets stuffy when you eat.
Remember that although the moon is only one third the size of the earth, it's farther away.
Why is it that during hearing tests when the voice tells me to repeat words, when it says "aisle" I want to ask which one? (I'll, isle, aisle)

Back in the late sixties in Northern CA they were using unmarked gold corvettes as cruisers to nab speeders. Talk about being invisible and no chance to out run, LOL

I think heretofore and before are temporal references, describing things or conditions that existed earlier. Therefor, however, is more of a "why" than a "when" question. Wherefore is purely archaic, IMHO, so the question is purely academic. But then, spelling has become academic these days, hasn't it?
Can't explain the sweet thing, Dennis. To me, tea needs sugar, period, and don't you dare put lemon in it. If you want lemon, drink lemonade (which I do, more often than tea).
Wise County, Virginia still has my $139. Unmarked radar cars. Totally unmarked; only a portable blue light sitting up on the dashboard (after you've been clocked), and a guy in a uniform behind the wheel. $139, and I'd just come into the state from KY, where the speed limit was 10 MPH higher. Virginia's stretch of US23 was downhill; I was just coasting. $139. It's probably been a dozen years or so. You'd think I'd let go.
I fear that fudge might better serve as bait? Speaking of fear, I think that's what black ice smells like.
Why does everything you lose have to be in the very last place you look?
I can't think of anything else, but I hope some others can! haha
p.s. Them CT Troops got me loooooooong ago, but I deserved it for sure. Nothing like seeing those brims on those hats standing in the highway pointing you to the shoulder.
1) What does black ice smell like? Saw an air freshener with that as the smell.
2) Favor of the week sign (Fly Fisher Fudge) What is that fudge covered fish?

Whys and wherefores (the same suffix in therefore, heretofore, before, etc.) - and they mean the same thing. "Wherefore art thou Romeo" - Juliet isn't curious about 'where' Romeo is! She's wondering why out of all the boys in the world, she's stuck loving someone from the one family off limits to her.
1) Cold effects the ability to perceive taste. Ergo, ice cream, when it is produced, is 'over-sweetened' because once frozen it will then taste correct. Also, left-overs straight out of the refrigerator will taste 'duller' than when they were boxed up at the restaurant. http://www.foodnavigator.com/Science-Nutrition/Food-temperature-affects-taste-reveal-scientists
I wonder why forbear and forebears are different parts of speech with different syllabic stresses. Must be very difficult for non-native speakers! "My forebears taught me to forbear difficulties caused by four bears". Tricky stuff!
2). It has to do with your sinuses........exactly how it works, I don't know, just remember it from nursing school
3) I avoid CT whenever possible! Unfortunately, I have to go thru it to come visit you LOL
