Lowe back pain, hip pain and the skin feeling sore is something that I deal with as well. It is horrible to have that sunburnt feeling. Lyrica works for me when it comes to that pain.

As for the hip and lower back pain, is your gait off when you walk? That will cause pain but I get the pain just when I am walking and it is annoying. The only pain meds I am on are Lyrica and muscle relaxers so I just make due, but the pain got out of control in December and I got steroids for it.

Not sure that I have been much help but just wanted to let you know taht you are not alone in this pain.

Take Care,
Paula

This is not something most doctors agree with but I see an accupuncturist for my back pain. He is a pain management specialist.  He uses single needle with electrical stim. This helps me live the life I want.  The pain decresses to the point of almost nothing for two to 4 weeks, with spike of pain at night I then take meds to control. It's totally amazing to go in with pain that wraps around my stomach, runs down my legs and has me bent into the position of the letter C, and the next day it's gone. I can stand and walk.  Hope this is something you may think about.  Take care
