bowels??

Good morning to all; My question is when you are in a flare does it affect the colour of your stools  ? Mine lately has been a very pale colour...at present I am feeling very tired and the usual pain and pins and needle etc. This stool colour is new to me and now I am thinking what next? Thanks

Hi, no, an MS relapse does not affect the color of of your stools.  What does is your diet and the state of your liver and gallbladder system.   Very pale stools "can" indicate hepatitis.

You need to tell your primary doc about this immediately.

I can't remember what pale stool indicates, but it is something you can tell your primary care doctor about.  I hope you are feeling better.

MS should not affect your gastrointestinal tract in this way, from what I know.  Have you changed diet? Eaten anything different or have a new drug?  If this does not return to normal you definitely need to call your doctor and have it checked medically.

my best,
Lulu
