daughter seeking diagnosis

my 34 year old daughter has multiple signs of M.S. but can't get a local neurologist to take her on as her MRI shows no leisions, but she still needs help ,what can we do? We live in Orlando and she has trouble traveling because of panic disorder.

I got diagnosed in the ER at Florida Hospital;  my symptoms warranted ER, MRI & a neuro.  What are her symptoms???

There are several reputable MS neuros in Orlando area.  I can't imagine none would be willing to take her on, or at least do a consult & look at MRIs, labs, etc.

There's nothing like one of our kids being sick - no matter how old they are - to bring out the shewolf in us. I'm sorry you feel that she is getting no where and good for you to advocate on her behalf.

Can you take some time to back up and share more of her story with us?  We might be more helpful if you can fill in some of the blanks.

I googled hospitals in orlando with neuro clinics and came up with several choices to click on.......

if you find one who will take new patients, ask what their referral procedure is.
who did her MRI? and why?

can you have your primary refer you to Shands clinic in Gainesville?
they have a neuro clinic there.........
check with the bigger hospitals to see if they have neuro clinic and have primary refer you.......might work.........don't understand neuro refusing to take patient on?  perhaps pick a different one and not tell him what is your suspicions, just mention s/s and play dumb.
