i have had optic neuritis for years with my m.s. this last flair took 10 months to start to go away.does it get worse when your core temp. goes up.do not fret to bad over it most peps with m.s. go through it it almost always gets somewhat better.
One thing you learn quickly here is that nothing about MS is normal. What you describe could be MS, or allergies (especially if you can believe that Claritin commercial with the film over the screen), or what (something else).
I can tell you that I have insisted for years that I could not see as well as what the ophthalmologist's eye test said I could - at least not EVERY day. I think the doc is finally realizing why I fussed at him so long now that he knows I have a MS diagnosis. If I had searched out another doctor sooner......who knows, I might have started treatment sooner.

I have been fortunate so far and have not experienced optic neuritis that is common with MS. You mentioned this in an earlier post. If you feel your eye doctor is not being up front with you, get a second opinion! You only have one set of eyes.
I will say I have experienced blurry vision before but I have dry eye syndrome and then worked at the computer 8-9 hours a day. I increased my eye wetting drops and things improved.
Allergies could also be the culprit. Check it out with an ophthalmologist.
