yes it was all on the right side except the incontinence of course this has improved though.so has a lot of the right side stuff. still having issues with right arm and hand and leg thoug but they should improve.its scary going through that this was the worse relapse yet.at the time you think you are going to stay that way then it gradually improves.
Yup, yup... Your symptoms are very similar to mine, when I'm having problems. The numbness in the upper back is a red flag for a spine lesion. Fortunately I haven't had complete incontinence, but I do have urgency and retention.
hi numbness in my upper back ,bladder incontinence and my legs did not work properly foot drop right foot right leg affected and right arm and hand and face stayed numb and was not able to talk for awhile very fatigued and lots of pain
Depending upon where the lesion is in the cord, it can affect the arms. I have numbness in my right arm and spasticity in both arms, and several lesions in the upper cord.
It's also possible to have a lesion in the cord that's missed by the MRI - it won't always catch all the lesions, but your neuro is supposed to look at your symptoms, not your MRI.
So you had a relapse, huh? What was affected?
hi it would make sense considering my relapse but most of my issues fell like the upper thoracic. but i have been having issues with right arm numbness spasticity etc.
If it enhanced, it is a new lesion (approx less than 40 days old.)
Bob
It sounds like you have a lesion on the spinal cord.
