Yes, I have had this on the front of my right calf. It is a bizarre sensation. Like the others have said, it is a parasthsia, and I would let your doc know about it . I have had it on and off for about a month or so.

I can certainly identify with this sensation.  Early in my symptoms, before my diagnosis I went through a couple months of feeling warm water running down the inner part of my right thigh.  I swear it felt like I was losing my urine and, if alone, would grab myself in horror.  In public I would do some little bendover dance to check for puddles.  There never were any.  How maddening!

Yes, it's a form of paresthesia - sensations which we feel that have no basis in real life - Thank goodness!  Glad you like the Health Page.

I have experienced the hot water down the leg sensation. Per neuro..new parathesia..new and/or continuing relapse.  Added another drug to regime and it took care of the painful sensation.

Hi Maggs

I have heard of people saying they feel like water is running down their legs.

That seems to have been a while you have been waiting for your LP results, when do you get them?

Hi Maggs,

Welcome back!

I've not had te rush of water running in my leg, but I did have a bad bout once for about 5 months where it felt like water moving around in my back - was horrible and included pressure.

Not knowing what it was, I'd have sworn you could 'hear' the water with a stethoscope.  Found out mine was parathesias ...

Check out our Doc Q's write up on parathesias:
