legs and feet

thank you for answering..my feet really do the swellingin the heat to...but they seem to have swollen and want to stay that way...been having a lot of pain and pressure and creepy crawlies and i cant sleep very well at night ...they gave me trazadone but still about 4 hours a night.

i do have hypothyroid and ddd...so maybe its all because of that i dont know..my neck feels swollen and when i bend my head it feels like there is something there...oh well enough complaining ...i hope you all are ok   ..take care....deb

I get this occassionally, and I think it's because I'm on my butt all day.  The doctor told me to wear support hose, but I usually wear sandals, so it would look weird.

Hi, Deb. I have had this problem intermittently for years, though nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Now it's just in hot summer when I've been on my feet a lot.

Years ago it was much much worse, and I was put on all sorts of diuretics and so on. Finally they said it was idiopathic edema, which I think is medicalese for 'Beats the h*ll out of me.' They had no clue, and still don't. But I don't think it has any connection with MS.
