I have been feeling cold like liquid running throughout my lower left side of my back and have had a few times in which i feel large shocks what is it that I have and is curable?
I too, have this leakage in both my ears for almost ten years. Doctors don't see anything. I get a white discharge in them too. Did you ever find out if it's related to MS I see a neurologist in February to start testing to rule out. I have Fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia and undocumented lupus of the face (I won't let them to biopsy on face to confirm). I alao, in fact right as I type get the warm gel feeling down the back (spine) area. It does not burn just like icy/hot feeling.
I have the same thing (wet feeling on butt when it is dry) and wondered if anyone else does. Have you seen a doctor about it? I have other major health issues, so just figured it is part of the package (overian cancer 2x now in remission.)
You've gotten good answers here. I just want to chime in as another who gets phantom feelings. Many times I've had the sensation of a cold damp spot on my rear end. Very creepy, and potentially embarrassing, as one day it might actually be damp and I'll walk around that way.

I want to welcome you also..its a great place to be!!
Along with the hot, cold and wet spots and my wet spots are not reallly wet....I have a sensation that feels like my nose is running all of a sudden.
Not good if you are out or with other people, I always check to make sure just in case it is for real.
good luck, and keep us posted..

Hi,
I have the clear watery seepage from my ears too. I have been to the ENT....he said nothing wrong, but 1-3 times a month I feel my ears beginning to seep...and if I put my finger in my ear, it is completely wet. Just like when I first get out of the shower.
I also have full, muffled, ringing, echo in my ear. I don't know if either of these are MS related.
Everyone already gave you the answer about the liquid running down your back.
I wish you the best....and keep us posted. When do you go back to the neuro?
Hi there,
For a few months I had a problem with burning skin and the feeling like water moving around in the center of my spine. It was accompanied by a feeling of pressure in my spine and leg problems. I 2nd Ren that it sounds like parathesias. I would of sworn if someone put an ear to my spine they would of heard it, lol until I found out what it was
Took months to subside. How long have you had this so far? My Dr. recommended lyrica but I did not try it. Figured I'd wait it out and see what happened. It's a rotten symptom.
Thanks for joining us!

I don't think we've met so I'll add a welcome to the forum, too!
The liquid running down your back is a called a parathesia. It's where the nerve is sending the wrong signals to the brain and it is interpreted as the liquid sensation. I have this as well. I have ice water on my left thigh and boiling hot water on my right shin.
There is a Health Page on this topic. The Health Pages are on the main page, located in the upper right hand corner next to the yellow icon.
I take meds for my parathesias and they do lessen the sensations. However, since you are in the middle of a diagnostic work up, they probably won't treat it until they have answers so as not to muddy the waters.
I hope you get answers soon. Your symptoms sound miserable.
Good luck with your work-up,
Ren
