Mri shows multiple t2 hyperintense nonspecific subcortical white matter lesions not typical for demyelinating disease.  I've had a history of left side paralysis but resolved in a few hours, left facial droop with slurred speech, twitching and jerking limbs, red painful burning hands, blurred vision, tachycardia and flushing and latest symptoms are head numbness,  blurry vision, jaw pain and severe bilateral arm and leg numbness.  I have been diagnosed with costocondritis, gastritis, esophagitis and atypical migraines - with sudden onset at age 42.  2.5 years ago I woke up with acute muscle atrophy, enlarged veins, left side paralysis, photosensitive, phantom smells, and blurry vision.  Right after I started having fluctuating blood pressure high to low, daily constipation, shaking head, drooling, tremor, and headaches like a knife went into my head.  I just don't know what to think.  All my blood, including Ana, tests are normal. My legs, arms and chest numbness are getting worse.  I feel like I'm running out of time in getting ant treatment that could help prevent permanent disability.

I've had every test under the sun except a spinal tap.  The only consensus I've been given is that my symptoms are atypical for everything.  I was told I had petit mal seizures in my 20s, ms in my late 20s but the mri neuro didn't agree and my symptoms went away so ...  I have to use a cane every other day now and my arms are getting worse.   The sensory issues are driving me crazy. I wash my hands and my hands tingle like a million ants are in them, certain light makes me dizzy, my lips go numb and my jaw clacks.

Your symptoms and MRI appearances are non-specific but MS may be a consideration. Many of your symptoms cannot be attributed to MS and I would suggest being investigated for other causes. Have you had a spinal tap (CSF analysis) for oligoclonal bands? Have you had a full neurologic exam from a neurologist?
