need a good ms nero

Thank you so much for the MS Neuro Rating link! I'm in the diagnostic process and new to all of this; and feel like I was blindly searching for a good neuro. Thanks to your link, I found out that the MS Center I was thinking of going to in the next state but closer to me is not necessarily so good. But, there is another MS center on the other side of my home state that received good ratings.

thanks for the site info . don't rember if Ithank you yet haven real memory probla ems .Slow typer poor speller just plain slow ha ha you ask some about me here a little for now .I have been have symtoms looking back for at lest 20yr ie. pain ,cognitve,lighting boat down my backervy once in a while they went a way,slowly be came fatiged .moved from tn. to Idaho about ten years ago.thats when thing began to go down hill became more fatiged brain fog ,no insurance at the time doc gave me advair for my brething said i had astma witch help she latter gave steriod shot ,wow I felt good Iwas my old self but did not last.move back to tn. very tired sleep apna help some breathing sill bad more steroids on and off up and down went to allergest took shots later put on xolir 2 timme a month 500$ a pop helped breathing but still tired. then about 18 months ago begin to have bad tremors could not write my name dobble vision woke up one moring could not feel legs from knee down wife help me up to the side of bed half hour feeling came back alittle she help to living room later that day got betterabout walking long story short 2 months got see nero mir no lessions but lot of white matter . did envoked potechial for eyes cam back adnorma bilateral movment and did the one wher they schoke your leg and arms ,it also was adnormal. then did spinal tap negative ,buthigher than nomal protines in fuild .no meds no dx only talk to primary doc he recomeded new nero. new nero said it was fibrmialga gave me lyrca and cmbalta stop tremors  still hert cant pee have now ed still brain fog can't walk down stairs somtimes becase legs shake so bad face numb extremads tingall i weat a cool suit when hot freez my famiy to death many other problems simular to MS new nero wants to wait for one year ie. 3more mouths for new MRI .have not worked for 8months  just waiting.would like to have intervenes stroids to see if it would help? thank for listening ,got any advise.hebrewsie.hillard

Got just the thing for you:  MSNeuroRatings.com  

I found out about that website here.  It's fairly accurate, based on what I have experienced in my town.  Ratings are sent in by patients who discuss the various MS physicians' strengths and weaknesses.  They share their experiences with the various MDs so you know, before having to waste any time or money, who to go to and who to avoid.

If you contact your local MS office, they will only give you a list of MDs who have contacted them, interesting in getting MS patients.  Doctors on their list may actually be horrendous - the MS office doesn't judge them, they just list them as the doctors call in looking for business.  A doctor who actually falsified my neuro exam was on their list of MS physicians and that doctor was not even an MS specialist - just wanted to become one!

So check out MSNeuroRatings for the best chance at finding a competent MS MD.
