numbness

What causes numbness in my lower leg upon awaking?

I wake to numb arms and hands in the mornings. Never fails that part of my arms and hands are alseep in the morning. Not sure what causes it, maybe staying in the same position to long, maybe sleeping wromg. Could be the what Sumanadevii spoke about.
I just deal with it and add it to my long list of symptoms.

Moritz, it can be caused from a number of things....Blood vessels, arteries, nerves, ....I would suggest getting in to see a doctor asap.  For sure it isn't normal to wake with a numb leg....
