I am thankful for the 5 wonderful years that I had with my beloved husband. The holiday time is a sad season and yet happy time remembering out wonderful time together. I am thankful for my son and daughter. Thankful I still have a job, and am able to perform it. Thankful for my wonderful friends, for the support and caring that you all show me.
Prayers and Blessings to all.

About 5 years ago my husband and I narrowly escaped what would have been a fatal car crash. It was so scary that I saw my life go before my eyes. When we came out of the spin and realized we had the car back under control, I never felt so grateful for a second chance in life. So, ever since that day I started a personal tradition. Before I step one foot out of my bed every morning I think of 3 things I am grateful and thankful for. Since today is Thanksgiving I decided to add a few extra. The 5 things I chose today were:
1. My husband is safe and sound in a war zone today.
2. I have 2 of my 3 children with me right now to celebrate thanksgiving with and I love them
2. My health, it could be better but it could also be so much worse.
4. I have a good job with benefits.
5. Everyone at home in California are finally putting their differences aside to coming together today for Thanksgiving today for the first time in many, many years. I wish I could have been there too.
And everyday I am thankful that I stumbled across this forum and met the nicest people from literally around the world. I am thankful to you all.
Enjoy the day with your family, friends, and of course the football.

I am thankful for each day and what it brings, whether it be good or bad.
I am thankful for my friends, which are all members of this forum. Their compassion, love and support are such a blessing to me.
I am thankful for my family, and the love they share with me.
I could go on and on because life in itself is a reason to be thankful.
Love and hugs to you all!!

I am so thankful that I found this forum and all of the wonderful people here. Just knowing that I can reach out for support is a huge blessing.
I am thankful for my family, who have been so caring and concerned about my health this last year and a half.
I am thankful for my Golden Retriever, Chance who we just rescued. She is 2 years old and a bit of a neurotic mess right now (she was abused), but she is the sweetest, most loving dog I think I have ever known. Even with her past, she still has the capacity to love unconditionally...it just overwhelms my heart. Her cuddles and affection soothe me when I am not feeling so hot.
I wish everyone here a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful that my husband and I are still employed.
I am thankful that I ended up with my ex-DIL's kitty and that she has been a wonderful companion for the last 6 years.
I am thankful that I get to see the Rockettes every year on TV and that I got to see them at Radio City once.
If only we could remember to be thankful everyday!! I'm thankful for the smiles your responses put on my face. - Lu

I am thankful every day for my children who keep me smiling. I am also thankful this year for more time to spend with me father who has lung cancer & the way the disease has pulled us closer as a family. I am trying to be thankful for all of the family who will be here today - even though they do not get along very well :) Thanks to all of you & the support you have given me! Happy Thanksiving.
