please help me!!!

Hi all im new to this but was wondering if anyone could offer advice ive been unwell with loads of neuro symptoms for the last 9 years after the birth of my daughter. i was under neurology for the first three years where ms, migraine and functional were being investigated as my mri lumber and tests were clear i was told it was functional. After 5 years i lost my eyesight for 24 hours and was sent to hospital by my optician. the opthamologist there saw periphal vasculitus and snowballs at my retina and told me she would pass me back to neurology as she suspected ms. Though at my neuro appointment these findings were dismissed and i was sent home and told functional again. as my symptoms persisted and i had been battling on my own with help from family i arranged a private 3t mri, problem is the radiologist had wrote i had 1 lesion at the subcortial white matter frontal lobe and several schmorl nodes on thiariac spine. Then when i went to neuro they stated normal. then my optician says i had some lesions in white matter. i sent my disc to be reviewed by a spine specialist and they says the nodes on spine he felt were due to neuro disease and he also says i had some lesions on white matter. Unfortunately though my gp and the nhs doctors are just saying functional and sending me home. i looked at my scan and i saw several black holes and i dont know where to turn for help im in the glasgow region and would be prepared to travel for help or if anyone could reccommend a radiologist or neurologist i would be so greatful. tghankyou in advance.

Hi kirkane - Welcome to our group.

The symptoms you describe may be realted to MS. They may also be related to many other things. It sounds as though your GP and current neuro have chosen to ignore your symptoms and MRI. It's often easier for them.

I'm not sure if you can see another neuro, under NHS. Can you?
