It sounds like you've been having a lot of complications, the head to toe muscle spasms is not generally what happens in MS though from memory, they are not uncommon in a Lupus flare but why i'm sorry i dont remember. You do mention in another post that you've got a nasty infection going on, i'm thinking that that could be causing the 'all over' spasms, definitely get it checked out by your doctor, if the infection is still resistant it may need the big gun treatments to get rid of it.

If it was only neck or throat swelling i'd be thinking glands because of the infection or even possibly thyroid but chest swelling doesn't sound right, so i think you really do need to see your doctor, especially if it all seems to be progressive swelling or worse than what your dr is aware of.

Anaphylactic reaction is a possibility, though MSG is least likely to be causing you so many comorbid issues, still worth checking out if its a reactive issue and not a systemic one.

Take care.......JJ
